• "Sometimes the bravest and most important thing you can do is just show up." — Brené Brown

  • Adolescence is a unique developmental period. Adolescents go through significant physical, emotional, and social change, and the multitude of shifts in life can lead to eating disorders. At Be, we recognize the unique needs of adolescents, and customize a treatment plan that works with your child's full spectrum of issues, including educational and academic challenges.

  • At be Collaborative Care, an adolescent AND their family receive direct care from highly-trained, transdisciplinary staff. Principles of Family Based Treatment (FBT), also known as the Maudsley Model, are infused throughout the program. A clinical social worker is assigned to provide you with family therapy, consistent updates, and open communication throughout your child’s treatment.

Parent support is important, therefore Be provides parents in-depth educational opportunities – including nutrition education, family therapy, a lending library, and parents' therapy groups. Be works hard to help clients learn to connect with their emotions and be vulnerable sharing them. Therefore, we believe it is important that parent's equally learn about emotional vulnerability in order to create a safe holding space for their child to practice emotional connection.
